Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship as a Precision Machinist (f/m/d)
Precision machinists construct tools for the automotive industry, among other things from technical drawings. The programming of computer-controlled machine tools and the operation of manual milling machines and turning machines, including the measuring and testing of mechanical variables, also form part of the precision machinist’s job tasks as well as the maintenance of the machines. The willingness to constantly train and develop one’s skills further is also a prerequisite for this profession.

- The final examination takes place in the middle of the fourth year of training.

Apprenticeship as a Cutting Machine Operator (f/m/d)
Cutting machine operators construct tool elements, e. g. from a workpiece. This is normally done at the computer-controlled milling machine. With the creation of programs for numerically controlled production systems, the set-up of machines and the choosing of efficient milling tools, cutting machine operators not only monitor their own work, but also ensure the quality standard determined for the products at the same time.
